Synopsis
Whenever drama unfolds in Mary Jo Walker’s life, she and her daughter, Ava, flee to a new city—a cycle Ava is growing weary of. This time, trucker Jack Ranson lends a hand as they move to San Diego. While Ava eagerly embraces her leading role in the school play, Jack charms Mary Jo, but his controlling nature soon surfaces. Faced with danger, Mary Jo contemplates another escape, igniting Ava’s frustration.
