Synopsis
Country singer Leana Taylor (Dolly Parton) yearns for freedom from her domineering manager and boyfriend, Hank (John Terry), while grappling with her troubled past. With the help of her guitarist (Billy Dean), she confronts the ghosts of her history, including her estranged mother and her father’s death. Through evocative flashbacks, Leana navigates her journey to heal and pursue her dreams in music.
